On Saturday, May 22, 2010, the El Paso Bar Association and El Paso Lawyers for Patriots hosted the first-ever Veterans Mental Health Treatment Court & Veterans Legal Initiative Program at El Paso Community College. The purpose of this project was to develop a coordinated network of El Paso lawyers to assist veterans, active duty military and their families who otherwise could not afford or don’t have access to legal services.
